Glycerin: it can be of vegetable or chemical origin. It increases the water content of the skin and also helps maintain the water content of the Lubrifist lubricant. Propylene glycol: like glycerin, it is used to maintain the water content of the lubricant. To date, it is not subject to restrictions by law. Carbomer: It is used to gel the lubricant and give it a viscous texture. It should not be confused with sodium carbomer which is very irritating to it. Carbomer has a low potential for skin irritation.
Phenoxyethanol: this component is a preservative. Its maximum concentration must not exceed 1% in order to benefit from CE certification. This being the case, theANSM (the French health agency) recommends not to use baby wipes containing phenoxyethanol. Indeed, this component is an allergenic which can also cause serious disorders of the organism. Be careful, the ANSM specifies that the risk is present for babies but not for adults.
